What it covers
- Labor only on new Mini Splits USA installations. Parts are covered only by the equipment manufacturer’s warranty, under its own terms.
- Installs at the Standard package and above.
- Owner-occupied homes, including second homes and short-term rentals.
What it doesn’t cover
- Long-term rentals and commercial properties.
- Installs below the Standard package.
- Systems installed by other companies.
Keeping it valid
The 12-year labor warranty requires either annual maintenance with Mini Splits USA or an active Protection Club labor subscription.
Lifetime labor plans*
Lifetime labor coverage is available only through a paid Protection Club subscription with the Mini Split Doctors. It applies to covered units while the subscription is active and paid, has eligibility and equipment requirements (for example, a working voltage monitor on each outdoor unit), and does not include parts after the manufacturer’s parts warranty ends.
